Bluetooth Drop Timer

DotYellow.png   When the Bluetooth Re-Pair Timer value is set to "Immediate", this feature selects the amount of time that a Bluetooth (BT) accessory can remain disconnected (out of range) and still remain paired (see Pairing Type).

DotYellow.png   When the Bluetooth Re-Pair Timer value is set to "Infinite", this feature selects the amount of time that a Bluetooth (BT) accessory can remain disconnected (out of range) before the accessory automatically powers-down. DotBlue.png BT accessory auto power-down is a battery-conservation benefit.

Asterist.png When the radio and accessory become disconnected, or the accessory automatically powers-down, retention of the pairing info may be influenced by the Bluetooth Replace Pairing Info selection.

This selection applies on a radio-wide basis. Time is in hours or minutes. DotGreen.png An example of a Bluetooth accessory is the wireless earpiece.

"Immediate" = 0 (Zero Time)

Always Available

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 minutes

Always Available

2, 4, or 8 hours

When the Bluetooth Re-Pair Timer value is set to "Infinite". For Bluetooth Re-Pair Timer set to "Immediate" these selections are not valid.
